Scale
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
- Seasonings of choice (e.g., everything but the bagel seasoning, garlic powder, taco seasoning, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180C/350F and line a baking tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Cottage Cheese Mounds: Drain any excess moisture from the cottage cheese. Using a tablespoon, scoop out portions and drop them onto the lined baking tray, spacing them approximately 2 inches apart. Press down each mound flat and sprinkle your desired seasonings on top.
- Bake: Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the cottage cheese mounds for 30 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown and crisp.
- Cool: Remove the chips from the oven and allow them to cool completely on the baking tray. Cooling helps them firm up and become crispier.
Notes
- You can refrigerate leftover chips, but they will lose crispiness and become soggy. To crisp them up again, reheat in the oven for a few minutes.
- Try flavor variations such as everything but the bagel seasoning, garlic powder, low sodium taco seasoning, or sprinkle with cheddar or parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
- Pressing the cottage cheese mounds flat helps them bake evenly and become crispy.
- Use full-fat cottage cheese for best texture and flavor, but any type will work.
