- 1 (25 g) pickle spear
- 2 tsps. (6 g) Tajín seasoning
Drink
- 1½ cups (180 g) ice
- 2 oz. (60 ml) silver tequila
- 1 oz. (30 ml) dill pickle juice/brine
- 1 oz. (30 ml) triple sec
- 1 oz. (30 ml) fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz. (15 ml) simple syrup
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: Rub the pickle spear along half of the rim of your glass to moisten it.
- Rim the Glass: Pour the Tajín seasoning onto a small plate. Dip the moistened edge of the glass into the Tajín to coat it evenly.
- Fill Glass with Ice and Garnish: Fill the prepared glass with ice and place the pickle spear inside as a garnish.
- Mix the Drink: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the silver tequila, dill pickle juice, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
- Shake: Cover the shaker and shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled, about 15–20 seconds.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the margarita mixture into your prepared glass over the ice and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Homemade Simple Syrup – Combine 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar and 1 cup (240 ml) water in a saucepan. Heat until the sugar dissolves, then cool. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
