These Grinch Cookies are festive green sugar cookie cups filled with a Hershey’s Kiss and topped with a heart candy sprinkle. Perfect for holiday celebrations, they feature a soft, thick dough colored vividly with green gel food coloring and baked to perfection in a mini muffin pan.

- 1 large egg
- 3/4 teaspoon green gel food coloring

- 18 large heart candy sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pan. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly spray a mini muffin pan with baker’s spray or line it with paper cups to prevent sticking.
- Mix egg and food coloring. In a small bowl, whisk the egg and green gel food coloring together using a fork until evenly combined, ensuring the dough will have a vibrant green color.
- Combine dough ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, use a handheld mixer on low speed to combine the sugar cookie mix, all-purpose flour, unsalted butter, and the egg-food coloring mixture for 2 to 3 minutes until well mixed. The dough will be thick.
- Form cookie cups with candy. Using a 1½ tablespoon cookie scoop, portion the dough and flatten each ball into a 3-inch disc. Place one Hershey’s Kiss candy in the center, keeping it upright, and carefully fold the dough around the candy to form a ball. Place each ball into the prepared mini muffin pan, ensuring the Kiss remains upright.
- Bake the cookies. Bake the cookies at 375°F for 12 minutes, watching carefully so they do not brown. The cookies should be cooked through but remain soft.
- Add heart candies and cool. As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, place one heart candy sprinkle onto each cookie, offset to the right from the center. Let the cookies cool in the muffin tin for at least 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
