Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If the breasts are very thick, pound them to an even thickness using a meat mallet. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Brown the chicken: Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown.
