Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Peanut Butter Bars with a crunchy graham cracker and powdered sugar base, topped with a smooth chocolate and peanut butter layer. Perfect for a sweet snack or dessert.

  • 2 cups graham crackers crushed
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 2 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Dish, Line a 9×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix Base Ingredients, Using a stand mixer or hand-held mixer, combine melted butter, powdered sugar, and crushed graham crackers until well blended.
  3. Add Peanut Butter, Mix in 1 ¼ cup creamy peanut butter just until fully incorporated into the base mixture.
  4. Spread Base, Evenly press the peanut butter mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the base layer.
  5. Melt Chocolate Topping, In a heat-safe bowl, combine semi sweet chocolate chips with remaining 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each, until the mixture is smooth and melted.
  6. Apply Chocolate Layer, Spread the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture evenly over the peanut butter base layer.
  7. Chill Bars, Refrigerate the bars for 1 hour to allow them to set firmly.
  8. Serve, Remove from fridge and let bars sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing and serving for best texture.
