Description

  2. Add Cream Cheese: Incorporate the softened cream cheese into the batter, mixing until the dough becomes thick and fully combined.
  3. Chill Dough: Cover the dough and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour to prevent spreading during baking and ensure thick cookies.
  4. Prepare Oven and Baking Sheets: Preheat your oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  5. Shape Cookies: Scoop the dough into tablespoon-sized balls for uniform cookies.
  6. Optional Roll in Sugar: Roll each dough ball in powdered sugar or pink granulated sugar if desired, or place them plain onto the baking sheet.
  7. Bake: Bake the cookies for 10 minutes until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
  8. Add Chocolate Kiss: Let the cookies rest for 1 to 2 minutes out of the oven, then gently press a chocolate Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
